Hawraman Music Group brings musicians together around the living musical traditions of Hawraman and the wider Kurdish community. Led by vocalist Farzad Mehdi Nia, the ensemble connects voice with instruments including Santur, Qanun, Kamancheh, Daf, percussion and Bass Tar.
Our mission is to share Hawrami and Kurdish music with families, younger generations and wider audiences, while creating respectful opportunities for musicians based in Europe and the Middle East to perform together.
The group’s confirmed programme includes two Berlin concerts on 16 and 18 October, followed by Manchester on 30 October and Leeds on 1 November. Event details and availability should always be confirmed through the official events page.
